Hey dudes. Love this place. I don't post really but I've found this forum an extremely helpful and informative place. Amazing resource.

I'm in need of some help though. I'm using OLC's MkIID GUI and I found that the range & AOB finder is a little bit different than on his tutorial videos. I've watched both the original tutorial video and the supplemental video and in them the range & AOB finder has some scratchmarks that you're supposed to use when you're measuring range, AOB and speed while the scope is zoomed out. However when I went to practise manual targeting I found the range & AOB finder doesn't have the scratchmarks anymore so now I have no clue how to get measurements at close ranges when the target is too big for the scales with the scope zoomed in.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Salute !!!

There is no zoom feature on the periscope in OLC's mod. As to the scratch marks.... They can be pretty hard to see until you know just exactly where to look.

That's weird because I can definitely zoom the scopes except the UZO. Maybe I need to change my mod order in JSGME. Anyway I have a different looking range & AOB finder than the one in the tutorial video. Instead of the scratchmarks I have a red line at about 40 degrees and not exactly sure what it's for.

Salute, Jonmar !!

This (long) thread should have all the information on OLC's GUI: http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?t=147667

On the last page a poster (ryanwigginton (http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/member.php?u=231473)) mentions that the zoom does not work because of wave rendering problems.

I have been using OLC for a while now and I do miss the zoom feature...

You may be correct that another mod is clashing with the OLC views.
