I remember so little about her but that is probably age related on my part.

Everybody's favorite Mousketeer. I loved her making fun of her image in Back To The Beach.

Evidently she lived a classy life. I don't recall reading any controversies about her.

She was a striking beauty although I never watched much of MM Club to care about that time of her life.

I loved all those cheesy beach movies when I was a kid.

Annette Funicello joined a group of other talented young performers hired to become Mousketeers on "The Mickey Mouse Club," the children's variety show that debuted in October 1955 and quickly became a daily late-afternoon ritual for millions of young Americans.

I remember watching the MM Club with Annette. Reruns of course! Annette was able to survive Disney as a child and have a productive career. These days, the Disney sitcom kids do not fair as well.
RIP Annette
