A few weeks back I ran across Jimbuna's Qship mod and a second mod called Q Ship mod for GWX - Reloaded ( slightly modified from the original) on one of my mod archive DVd's. For some reason I had never tried the Q Ship mod so I loaded it up and made the changes needed in Sh3Commander.

I had forgotten about it and several patrols later (this evening) I finally ran into one at night. It almost ended my current career on the spot. I attacked on the surface putting one torpedo into the "merchant" and decided to finish her off with the deck gun. About the time I got off my third round all hell broke out. My deck gun was destroyed with one gunner dead the other two wounded. The Watch officer was also wounded. I crashed dived, but before getting to a safe depth the attack scope was destroyed, I had heavy hull damage with minor flooding. Talk about an adrenaline rush :o

Jimbuna thanks for a great mod :up: even though it took me a few years to get around to trying it:)

are guns visible? do they spawn on deck when it comes time to get nasty?

how is it a q-ship exactly

read quite a bit over it. what an unpleasant surprise that would be to run across.

my current career is rounding the bend into 1943... tommy has stopped making mistakes :D and thus needs no help from Q-ships!!

i'll install it on the next go around :up:

GoldenRivet....Most certainly give it a go when your ready....it really added a bit more "spice" to my patrols.

... Put it should be hard to find one, huh?
MantiBrutalis I put in five patrols after installing the mod before running into one...so no they are not something you run into often...but when you do you will remember it :D
