I can imagine just imagine an officer whining to his commander: "but, but they were on aim bots!"

well, this just shows the unrelenting progress of technology. I remember reading in a gun magazine just a few short years ago, about the first balistics calculator app for the palm pilot, that "with the generation of palm pilots, the automated systems would be so advanced, shooters will never have to crunch members in their heads ever again!".

and to think just 10 years later, we have aimbots (albeit not the best ones) in real life

I don't like this...

I have a Sweet .223 on my Savage right now. It's a scope that calculates for bullet drop. I consider this cheating...but it's cool and it'll come in handy next November.

Having something aim for you? :nope: :nope: :nope: Just....NO! :/\\!!

EDIT: WAIT! It's April Fool's Day still.....YOU CAN'T GET ME THAT EASILY!

Took him a while... :haha:

Still, to be honest it's probably not that far off, likewise the potential for laser guided bullets, and then somewhere down the line it'll be DNA guided weaponry. The ultimate in clean warfare, just program your enemy in, fire and bloop, he drops dead from a clean headshot in the middle of a crowded market, no LGBs, no Hellfires, no exchange of gunfire, just one drone, one bullet, one target.

An April fools joke?

They have gone out of their way for a laugh writing about this scope system for months on various web sites... This particular article was published in March

You mean to tell me these guys made mock up hardware and an iPhone and iPad app just to spread an April fools joke?

Want one? Go buy it if you've got $22K

I'm not one to fall for things like this easily, but this has been a rifle many have been discussing for a long time

I don't think this is an April fools joke :hmmm:

I certainly don't believe to be a hoax either in fact there was a YouTube link on it that showed deer being hit from outrageous distances just a week or so ago...if it wasn't on SS then I must have seen it on another forum :hmmm:
