I want to clone a ship, because I want to create a ship to simulate Spoils of war, but I do not know how to do that, can anyone help?

For example, a small number of Flower Corvettes were captured in France, and I want to create some Flower corvettes under German allegiance.

Also, with Open Horizons II, there are clones of the Komet Auxiliary Cruiser that has been renamed and made into a Merchant it's the Small Coastal Cargo EMS type, I want to learn how to do this.

What I meant was that I want to make a clone of the actual ship so I can edit the weapons on the ship without effecting the original ones on the other side.

An example, I want to re-create the Stolen Flower corvettes that were taken when France was occupied, but they did not have their weapons installed, so I want add German guns to it, but If I do this by regular means, the British ones will have the German guns.
