View Full Version : New From nVidia
nVidia has a new product, free of charge that is a little like nVidia Inspector but better. Better in the sense that it detects your games and set itself up based on your card and hardware.
Might be worth checking out. It does not support XP at this time, but says it will later. Go here:

Doesn't seem to support that many games:

Gave it a try and laughed my behind off because of the silly "optimization" options this tool gave me.
BF3 runs perfect with my current settings. NVidia says, I should lower my resolution from 1920x1080 (native) to 1024x768(!)
Yeah, good call Nvidia, I bet I would enjoy BF3 much more then - or at all.
I know my system, I know what eats performance for me and what does not.
NVidia failed on my system, thats for sure.
Additionally, I don't see the need for such a tool, really. Anyone who play games on a regular basis should know what all the options mean, what they do and if his system can handle them...
This is one more step into the "shut your brain off" direction. It started with "Press 'R' to reload" and ends with crap like this.
