This is why we have a forum titled General Topics - for threads that have nothing to do with the game.

Thank God It's Friday....(or if you are blonde, you write it on your shoes and it stands for Toes Go In Front)

@ fastfed Really? I had my money on Sailor Steve. He's a good guy. :salute:

We just might need a better way to settle this.... :smug:

Why is there a fight? I say my piece, then I run and hide. Of course I don't run so fast or far anymore, but this is the internetz. I can be a tough guy all I wants. Of course if you're going to turn every comment I make into a "FIGHT" thead...well, that might turn the whole forum into the biggest spam fest the 'net has ever seen.

Lucky for you that your spelling was correct, probably the only reason he didn't move it or put you in the brig...

I might have moved it if I was a moderator for this forum, but I'm not. I only mentioned GT in case Carrollsue didn't know it was there. One thread like this doesn't hurt. On the other hand, if I started a thread here about my kids, or Frau K started her 'New House' thread here, it would soon be a real mess.

Did you know that the 'What Are You Doing Now In Real Life' thread was originally started in the SH3 forum? Imagine if it was still there. On the other hand it probably wouldn't be as big as it is, as a lot of people would never have seen it, since a lot of people don't read anything but their particular interest.

As for spelling, I've said it a hundred times, but I'll say it again: Spelling doesn't bother me at all. Mutilating the language does. I get uptight about people using apostrophes where they don't belong (torpedo's, sub's) or not being knowing the difference between there, their and they're. It's just embarrassing when someone from Finland or Germany can write English better than someone from Oxford or Omaha. Also, if I brigged someone for that I wouldn't be a moderator long; I'd be in the brig myself. I just mention it and see what happens. :sunny:
