Playing SH5 Off Line?

I am sure I read somewhere on one of the forums, that SH5 can now be run without being connected to the Ubisoft Server or without actually being on line for Single Player mode. Is this correct?
If so, how do I set the game up to run separately from the Ubisoft web site. and would I have to delete all saved games etc, from My Documents SH5 Folder. Any information will be appreciated

Hello RustySubmarine.

In UPlay program window there is an options button, set UPlay to always offline mode and disable online savegame sync.

We've been able to play it offline for well over a year now.

Thank you for that. I haven't played SH5 properly because my old PC wasn't up to it. I am glad that it can now be played off line.
