Uploading mods

I have made a fix for the Soldati Destroyer that makes it possible to hunt submarines, because the Soldati destroyer has two Kguns but no depth charge racks, and the AI does not compensate for this, so it misses every time it tries to use it's two Kguns, But I have edited the nodes to face the opposite way so the depth charge racks face off the ship.

Is there any way that I can export both these settings and so they work with JSGME?

You need to place a copy of the files that you edited into folders that match the SH5 folders.

so ane edited NDD_Soldati.GR2 would go into a folder set like so
YourModName\data\Sea\NDD_Soldati

This is the first attempt to upload a mod, so I have no idea on how to do it at all.:oops:

As I said above, copy any file that you edited into the same folders.
If you do not know what files you changed - you can view the folders files by date and he newest changed file will goto the top. (this is handy when working on terrain files).

When you have your folders set - test them
Then compress the with 7zip
Find an upload site (I like gamefront for small fixes or 4sync for large ones)

You don't even need to do that, just right-click with your mouse on the folder with your files you want to upload and select the appropriate option that comes up. I select "add to"...option. Once it's zipped or compressed, go onto a fileupload site and upload file from your pc and copy link into your next message on subsim.
PS: Have you tested your mod files before zipping them? :salute:
