Making a donation

I would like to make a donation but I do not have any credit card (I mean American Express or Visa). Just a bank card (I mean that 'little' card you receive (or rent... actualy) when you open a bank account. [Sorry if it sound like I'm talking to some retard, I just want it to be REALLY CLEAR].

Let's be honest here, I do not have the financial ease to have a credit card. And when I try to donate 10$, I have no choises but PayPal.

So, my question, rather simple in fact is : How can I donate without a credit card ? Any number of bank account would be great in fact as I do have a Online Bank Account and could easely make a donation this way. Hell, for the trouble, I would even make a biger donation. If this is possible, the GM should be able to find my e-mail adress right ?

[Edited] While looking around I found that adress where to send checks but... (I know, I'm a pin in the....) In belgium we stopped using checks decades aggo (they called that 'progress' :wah:). Any ideas on how to overcome that problem ?

SubSim used to have a PO Box to which you could send snail mail, but I don't see it listed anymore. PM Neal Stevens and he can help you out.

A Bank card is usually a Debt type card.
PayPal (at lest here in the U.S.) works with that type card as that's how I started my PayPal account.

My Bank card is both a Debt and Credit Card.
The Credit part is a prepaid type where I need the money in the account to use it as such. Yours may be the same setup.

Well, when I try to create a paypal account, it ask me to chose what type of credit card I use. And my debt card is not in the list.

My card is a Bancontact/Mistercash/Maestro with Proton (but we don't really care as Proton work only in belgium and is barrely used anyway).

I don't have a credit card either. I gave PayPal direct access to my bank, as they have a very good reputation for keeping things fair and above-board. No one would ever give me credit, but after using PayPal for eBay purchases PayPal gave me credit! PayPal will let you put money directly into your PayPal account and use that for payments an donations. You can also give them access, as I did, and then you can authorize a PayPal payment and they will take it directly from your account. I've been doing this for several years now and have never had a problem.

well I just completed my comand of a pre-paid credit card... So I guess I'll be one of those rich people who do have a credit card. But it's gonna take a few days for me to get it and I already know that each pre-payement will cost me a 2%... Live ain't cheap, really :haha:
