I keep getting CTD's that are persistent.
And I am unable to play the game because the CTD's are so common.

Just based on that comment alone I would say that no, your soup is not correct. While I can't say for certain what is wrong, I can give you this advice on figuring it out yourself: Un-enable everything in JSGME. Reinstall the mods one at a time, and test it each time. When you get to the point where it crashes, you'll know exactly where the conflict is. Yes, it's tedious, but it's how you actually learn what's going on. It's never a good idea to just dump a bunch of mods in and pray.

V13, did you load them as Sober recommends in his mod list? Loading the order he has them should solve your problem. You don't need all that he has listed, just use the ones you want but in that order. :03:

I list the mod orders mostly every time, I used Fifi's mod compilation, then added more mods to complete it, but the one in that list is my first one with some extra added, but even just using my first mod soup it doesn't seem to work anymore.
It crashes when I use 512 time compression or above, and i it doesn't it will crash every 15-20 minutes.
I used to be able to get through the British isles on 1024+ but now, it bearly can reach 256 without massive lag and CTD's.

You need to start a brand new campaign everytime you alter the mod list .

That is what I did.

Did you try this?

Here is my suggested basic mod list for you or anyone else have ctd that they can't explain:-

MightyFine Crew Mod
Equipment_Upgrades_Fix_v1_4_byTheBeast (plus any hot fixes etc)
Cerberus62 Corrected Depth Charge Projector 1.0
smaller flags for Warships 1_0b
SteelViking's Interior Mod V1.2
FX_Update_0_0_??_ByTheDarkWraith
IRAI_0_0_??_ByTheDarkWraith
NewUIs_TDC_???_ByTheDarkWraith
Trevally Harbour & Kiel Canal Pilot v2.9
OPEN HORIZONS II_full v2
TDWs Patch for sh5

First remove all mods and test that your stock SH5 is working
Add these mods in this order

When TDW updates any of his mods - install order should be by date (oldest first on the list)

If you want to go through the game with TC 512 or more you will always have crashes.. and it doesn't matter how high your PC specs.. :yep:

I used to plow through the British isles at 2000+.
But for some reason, I can't anymore.

In the open sea or near the coast like V13dweller?
How many mods do you use usually? Like he use or less than?

For sure acceleration is a game killer :yep:

I'm using 53 mods in my list, and best is to NEVER pass over X512.
X256 is perfect in almost all situations on my rig, and i use 512 for open quiet seas.

Furthermore, acceleration is a mess with sounds mods.
Best is to let the sound animations play before accelerating! Otherwise strange things may happen.
I noticed boat smoke doesn't like acceleration too. Accelerating for a moment and back ingame, smoke is shifted away from chimney...

Best is to follow Sober's advice, and set game to not pass over X256/X512

Yay.:D

It might not last that way for long. ;) I could cruise TC higher everytime I reinstalled SH5, but it wasn't long and I'd get those sudden crashes again when using 512 or higher. Just make sure you save after doing something important like completing, objective of sinking a bunch of ships, and/or approaching land or your home port. I hate to hear someone screem and cry from a long distance. It's bad enough when I hear myself do it. :yep: LOL
