Made in China ready by 2016.

A full-size working replica of the Titanic is to be built in China following an historic agreement between an Australian entrepreneur and a Chinese shipyard who are poised to sign a deal.
Titanic II is due to be completed by 2016. She will then be sailed to the UK and prepared for her maiden voyage from Southampton to New York - a repeat of the 1912 journey which ended in disaster.

Will it go down? If it has a sign that says "Made in China", there's a good chance it will. Hope not, but I won't be in line to get a ticket.:nope:

Have no doubt it will go down.

They also had a nice special about the SS United States on TV this weekend. I hope it doesn't get scrapped, beautiful ship. Think it still holds the trans atlanic speed record.

The SS United States has been on the block for some time now. Surprised she is not being cut up for razors. It will take a awful lot of money to get her back to ship shape.

Yep, much more than to build a new one, but if the govt. would fund it, think of all the jobs it would create. Then ticket sales could pay the govt. back. They've spent money on worse...
