Issues with SH5 and Steam?

Hey All,

Anyone having issues today with SH5 and Steam? Logged in today and it seems like the game uninstalled even though the files are on my PC still and getting the error "No Steam content servers are currently configured to deliver content for this game, This will corrected soon. Please try again in a few minutes" when trying to re-download.

I've logged a Steam support ticket, just wondering if anyone else is having issues?

I'm having the exact same problem unfortunately. Looking at the steam forums just about everyone that has the game through steam has this problem.

Steam is the best reason to buy the dvd. ;) Get the dvd at Amazon.com and support SubSim in doing so. :yep:

Subsim is negatively affected when one buys SH5 through steam? (Also, I'm not paying for the same game twice, or well, I don't want to, haha..)

I think they're finally saying no to Steam. I'm still pretty frustrated with Steam but this just overdid it with me. You pay for the game and then you can't play it, when it isn't DRM it's Steam. :Kaleun_Mad:

Ok so there seems to be a fix for those who didnt uninstall the game, in Steam change the Language from english to another language then change it back. People are reporting this to fix the issue.

Does anyone know the limitations on modding the steam version or any other download version as opposed to the physical version?

Hydrophone fix is not possible with the steam version.
