Game crashes by opening the world map

I have a problem with my silent hunter 5. When I open the world map the game crashes. I'm confused

What version of SH5? Have you updated it to the latest version - 1.2?
Are you running it with any mods? What are your computer's specs - are they high enough? Are you running Win 8, because there aren't that many people who do and we know very few things about how the game runs in it.
