Two questions about sh5 buying

Hi all

I am from the uk, I have the steam version of SH5, but want to buy a non steam version. So how do I know if I am buying the subsim version, also can I buy the download version from the usa as i don't like dvd's lying around got too many here and patch the exe file.

There is no "Subsim version". If you buy it, or anything else, from Amazon.com, .co.uk or .de, and do it using the link at the top of the page, Subsim gets a cut. It doesn't matter if it's disc or download. :sunny:

Was just checking about the link, what about the mod of the sh5.exe on download only asking because dvd in uk is £1.99 where download from usa is $9.99 which is more for subsim

Ok bought the DVD version from Amazon, got the 2010 version, although there was a 2010, 2011 and 2012 versions, don't know if they are diffent

Difference could be the newer DVDs are already patched to 1.2. When you install and run it, it should show on the main screen. If not you need to get and install the 1.2 patch before you use any mods. ;)
