Its fairly common , saudi still executes people for it, about 800 have been killed in India recently, Congo is notorious for it on a large scale and the pentecostals are mad for it in Nigeria.

What's wrong with burning witches? If they live, they're guilty, if they die, innocent and get to go to heaven.

Witches? We've moved on to pedophiles as public enemy #1. Pay no attention to that man behind the curtain. :hmm2:

Indeed. There is an actual government agency in Saudi Arabia dedicated to eliminating witches, genies and other paranormal entities. :o

Which is a lot worse than a vice presidential candidate recieving a blessing against witchcraft or a candidate feeling they had to declare that they are not a witch.

Sorry for my remarks (past present, future), but i still wonder why the west supports Saudi Arabia that much - are they better than Saddam Hussein ? Really ? Still no clue about 9/11 ?

Iran in the vicinity, starting drones from Saudi-Arabia etc., so from a strategic and natural resource point of view i agree, but please don't take us as complete nuts while mentioning reasons like helping the people, or democracy :)
