Now there's something I never knew :D

Holland is not the Netherlands, it's a part of Netherlands.
And the Pensilvania Dutch are actually Deutch :D

And EU members in the Carribean :03:

I did. I'd forgotten about the Dutch/Deutch though. And the EU/Caribbean I only found out a couple of months ago.

The only things I know about Slovenia though are it has a tiny coast (don't start that again) and a disproportional amount of boat builders, it has a lake called Bled, some mountains, and some corrupt politicians - just like everywhere else.

It's a common made mistake to refer to The Netherlands using the word 'Holland'.

We actually have to regions with the name 'Holland' in it: Noordholland and
Zuidholland (North Holland and South Holland).

The only two things I can say about the Netherlands is this

1 It's very beautiful country

2. The women is so attractive

3. When I can afford it, I will return to this beautiful country with it's attractive women

Not news. My teacher in elementary school expected us to be able to draw map of Europe with countries, major cities, mountains, seas, lakes and rivers appropriately marked. World map had to have countries and continents right. I spent sometime with world atlas... :yep:

We never had to do that but I grew up with a love of collecting and studying maps - have always had at least a couple of general atlases on the shelf as well as more specific ones for various places or historical eras.

However I gave up on keeping track of Europe when Czechoslovakia disappeared. :O:
