A new paradox naval strategy game... how exciting,(forget about the disasters they have already released: East India Company, Ship Sim Extremes, Naval War Arctic Circle) this one's got to be good with them having learned their lessons right? ...well see what you think at wargamer.com (http://www.wargamer.com/news/7491/leviathan-warships-announced-by-paradox-interactive)
Do remember that Paradox is PUBLISHING these games, not developing them. Personally I would applaud them for at least giving developers a chance with these games then never seeing them at all.
Whats wrong with EIC or Ship Simulator Extremes? I've played both and they aren't bad.
As for this Leviathan game... might be quite fun actually as long as the price point isn't to high, I'd say 10 USD and it'd be worthy of buying.

Personally, I'd recommend this http://monstersinthesky.com/. I just bought the core box, and it looks great! The lore is quite good as well.

Be careful with paradox's published stuff. I find that their quality control is isn't very good compared to other publishers.
I mean, remember Gettysburg? Sword of the stars 2?
but, I am looking forward to this, I just won't be preordering it.

Well you don't seem to remember where Swords of the Stars 2 received daily updates that fixed it.
Their quality control is better then I've seen from most publishers because at least they don't leave their customers in the dark and keeps them informed about the state and promise and deliver updates that'll fix it.

:haha:For the first two weeks, the game froze on the menu screen, (I found out later that it was the graphical settings that were to blame)
So yeah, my point still stands, don't bother preordering anything paradox that isn't developed in house by their first party studios. I mean, their "broken at launch" rate is much higher than any other studio.
