This airplane looks like a ultra light plane. :D

The video cites an uncited source claiming that the plane can fly for "1000 hours without needing to land", and that some Iranian defense minister said that the plane was "super advanced". It also has dials and buttons in the cockpit. And there was hip-hop playing in the background the whole time. Oh man, stuff just got real.

I wonder if Iran has any pilots that can fly for 1000 hours straight.

The picture looks more like a diorama.
I wonder who created the model kit that they used to build it.
Monogram?
Revell?

I bet they don't have a single qualified pilot.
We've seen how Arab folk fly commercial jets...

Was that too soon?

Looks like a fiberglass mock-up to me. Notice the canopy distorts the light a lot and there seems to be no manner of seal. This is only propaganda for Iranians. Advanced electro-ionic systems? What does it have a xenon flash tube for the strobes?

Come to think of it, it reminds me of an X-wing fighter stage prop.

i have heard it can fly 1000 hous without refueling! Officielly true off our news channel!
:o

1:17, open canopy:
wth? no way do safely close the canopy!
dashboard is a joke, set up from various pieces of electronic equipment. Left side: see white box of some off the shelf Car Radio being used...

1: 42: easy maintenance: can be repaired with Hammer, nail and wood screws!:har:

1: 58: check out the weird reflexes round the cockpit section! Stealth OMFGLOL! and the wing profile of a Hawker Hurricane.

I hope they build a thousand of these and kill their own pilots with it.

:O:Whatever happened to that Ali guy from the Iraqi invasion? He sounds like he would be perfect for the job!

"Our pilots are conducting their first 1000 hour sorties against the infidels, each of them dropping a hundred bombs! Also we have driven the Jews completely out of Israel and built a second Great Mosque on top of the first! Allah Akbar!"

And there was hip-hop playing in the background the whole time. The trademark of conspiracy theorists:nope:.

When one takes a look on the interior in the cockpit it doesn't looks like some hypermoderne fighter plan(as someone wrote in this thread)

The propaganda agencies could have used the Internet to see how the cockpit in our modern fighter plan looks like, or they could have found inspirations from the interior on NGC 1701 E(but even here we would have discovered that it is fake or TLAM Strike would)

Rumours say that Iranian TV plans to do a remake of the old series, U.F.O. The fighter described here, is part of that set.

Recent news also said that their space program claimed to have shot the actor starring in the new series into orbit, in a capsule. As we later learned, he did not leave the studio at any point, and the mission was part of the pilot for the series. Rumour also says that the star met president Achmadinejad in the backroom after the pilot was finished, becasue the president is a big fan of that series. They should have talked for two hours and discussed how political issues and moral philosophy could be best implemented in that series, before they parted.

The cockpit.

:dead:

I have seen FSX fans constructing their own cockpits in their garages - and after they were done showing up with something better than this Iranian wooden box.

Imagine in five hundred years some archeologists dig this one out, and they look at it and examine it and will scratch their heads and wonder in academical debates lasting decades: "What the heck is this thing? A cultic object, maybe?"

It looks like a poorly done full size mock up of an aircraft to me.

It is just some nonsense look at the canopy in the above photo there is no seal between it and the fuselage. It is very clear that there is no actual engine inside that thing and even if there were one it would not be able to carry any offensive weapons there is simply no room they would need to be stored inside the aircraft. The shot of the rear fuselage if you look at the visable control surfaces it looks like paper mache.
I Like how they have a cash register in front of the pilot that could come in handy.

I will tell you how the F-313 avoids radars first it does so by not actually flying second it is made of paper mache.

It's a fiberglass mock-up. No way can that thing fly. No seal or locking system for the canopy. :har: Reminds me of a computer flight simulator cockpit someone has made up, and then the Iranians added the rest of the stuff to make it look like a real aircraft. Which it'snot. And it looks like the "pilot" is having a hard time getting into the seat. It'll fly when pigs fly. :haha:

The Mig-21 and L-39 we launch on the weekends are real stealth fighters compared to this thing.

I notice that it completely lacks any form of HUD as well of course maybe they did like the movie "Foxbat" and if you think in Farsi is fires a backwards missile.I would agree it appears to be made mostly of fiberglass and the canopy looks pathetically weak.

The MiG-21 and a L-39 are also actual real flyable aircraft unlike the F-313.

What is sad is that people are actually believing this. The real Iranian Air Force is still using aircraft that where first constructed in the 1970's those F-4s and F-5 are from pre 1979 with the restraints against them the fact that they are still flying is a bit shocking.I am sure that is mostly from Jerry rigging that they manage.

That Iran keeps F-4s, F-5s, F-14s and God knows what flying when they are that old is a tesimony to the design, the designers and the manufracturers.

If this really was their new and advanced fighter plane, why would they let people see what`s in the cockpit? When I was working in the airfield in Bodų with the RNoAF F-16s, they let me take pictures of the outside of the plane, but not inside the cockpit. And that is a plane from the 80s.

I laugh, when I see this plane, but I also feel sorry for those who created this propaganda-fighter. Why??

It's no doubt that the leader of Iran have given someone an ordet to create some fake plane that should look very genuin and put fear in the american, well instead they got the CIA and other intelligense rolling on the floor laughing
(and us included)

So I guess it just a matter of time before those creators will be placed upon a wall and....
