Yeah played it a few days ago, its QWOP Open heart surgery.

Managed to beat it, Rip out lungs and old heart, threw in a new one, threw in a random assortment of tools laying around and surgery complete. I'm sure he'll be fine.

It's Operation for the guy with no friends. :D

Next they'll have a PC game of Mr Potato Head.

Oh! :o

LOL that video had me in stitches (ha ha get it).

There were some really awesome surgery simulators back in the late 80s to 1990. Like this one which covered brain surgery (and was really realistic in many ways)

Life or Death 2 The Brain.

Sadly there hasn't been much since (certainly not simulation level)

Oh wow, now that's really cool! Never knew this existed.

Makes that first video look like a joke (which it kinda is :O: )

I tired playing a lot of the medic/ ER games back in the day. I never really liked them as they were always yes/no types of things.

Medicine is way more flexible than what a game is, they're never even close to realistic.

Indeed, the first one was 3 colors only, ega or something. I remember that the scalper was force sensitive (or better, the game had that in consideration) the longer you press the mouse button, the more deep you were cutting/"stabbing" the patient. I did kill some before realizing what to do... (in the game!!!)

Yes I remember that one as well, graphics were pretty rough. L&D2 was also tough, you had to be fast or you ran out of supplies (something that always use to bug me).

Gargamel try L&D2. Plenty of ways to screw up realistically on your own (like get mixed up between which hemisphere the tumor is, and do the operation the wrong side)

Thats why Sharpie markers were invented.

And I'm not joking. If anybody ever get surgery done on a body part that has a symmetrical twin, mark it! As NS mentioned, very easy to get the wrong side.
