Is there a way to increase the radio volume without increasing the game volume? In other words, is there a separate radio volume control?

In sound options I believe you can adjust game music and other sounds.

Yes there is a separate volume control for the radio, under "Options/Sound," but at maximum it'll still be only as loud as your computer volume is set to.

Ok, thanks guys. I was trying to figure out how to make it louder, I have it maxed in the sound options but it's still not louder than other things. I have to really turn up my volume to hear it and then everything else is really loud.

This has been a problem for all the SH games. To get the sound louder relative to the game sounds you have to remove the files you wish to modify, increase the sound and then reinsert them into the game.
On my radio mod for SH3, I used format factory and MP3 Gain to do this.

I got to where I ran all my radio stations outside of the game with windows media player, mostly so I could listen to them while still dived, plus rock the 1940's music out....You can also do what Irish said, takes a lil time though, lot's of files.

What I do for that is turn down the Sound Volume in the Sound Settings. That way the radio plays louder, but the other sounds are at a lower level.

Thanks for the tips guys. I think I'll try Fred's trick first, if that doesn't work for me I'll try Irish's method.
