... and WTF?
Ok I came home from classes this morning. I sat around and played on the computer then realized that my MP3 player was still in the truck. I go out and grab it; now I'm expecting a package (my school books) so about a half hour later I go and check my front steps to see if they have arrived. I look out the window and something is wrong, I realize my truck is missing!
I run across the street (in my slippers, in the snow, in single digit tempatures) and ask my neighbor if she saw anything. She didn't. I get my boots and jacket on, wallet, keys etc, and run down to the park manager's office and tell them my truck is gone.
Luckily one of them saw a tow truck with it leave the park. We call the local tow truck place (its down the street) and the salvage yard (also down the street) and get nothing. We call the Sheriff dept. and they send two officers down in about 15 mins (again they are just down the street). I file a report when we see a tow truck come in to the park with my truck on it, the park manager and I run out and flag him down asking what's going on, one of the Sheriffs come out as well.
Apparently the tow company got a call to tow the Blazer from #20, the boss was in a rush and couldn't find it so he grabbed the nearest Blazer (my house #16). They got it to the garage and noticed it was the wrong color, wrong year and wrong damn vehicle!
I'm just glad I got it back, I have classes tomorrow.
