Yeah, this really makes me feel like a damned fool! I really tried to believe eventually the people who made this might turn out to be a decent bunch and bring this game up to its full potential. Oh well, live and learn.

Aye. I had high hopes for this one. Really did quite enjoy it at first. So much potential.
Amazing...my game worked for half the tutorial/first mission..died..I posted to the support mob...no answer...now their support is defunct.

I think paradox have washed their hands of it now, so any support is unlikely.
I also enjoyed the game a lot at first, I wasn't expecting a new version of harpoon or anything like that, so I didn't mind the simplicity of it all. It's just a shame that it was released in such a rough half finished state, so much potential wasted indeed.

Agreed. I've given up on this as well. Will now demote this forum and save as a sub forum under the Naval games section.

I kinda like this. It'll make room for other development teams. I'm not even sure if NWAC would have been released when it was now that Paradox has started their new quality standards.
If you follow the instructions from the forums and fill out a ticket at https://paradox.zendesk.com/home you should be able to get some compensation for this game. I got a free paradox game, but it might depend on wether you bought NWAC at full price or not.

:nope:
Sounds more to me like Paradox got fed up with the programmers. Everyone who has problems running the game should ask for a refund, he may even get it.

It might be forgotten!...Some fans might pick up the torch!...Someone might buy the copyrights!...
I liked that game, it had a good potential.
What bothers me, is that domino fallen, allows a worst player with questionable integrity to come to play, supported by hooligans which some were already posting in the Paradox "State of Naval War" thread.
One of the few great thing about the WWW, you can track people and there agendas, for ever.
Nothing is left over or buried.
A Psyc. profiler would make a killing, if he was paid to track and find out who is who, write what and why!
Besides, a lot of problem could not be duplicated. It seems that 1/2 the complaint generated from a group who will market an indie game next year. And Naval War Artic Circle, would have been a serious competitor. So they torpedoed it to allow their game to have better chance to succeed.
Some will destroy other people work for the sake of making money without letting the dynamic of free market and free competition to work, and letting a chance to the public to make a free educated choice.
