What a terrible demise for any warship to have:

Sad to think that it's sat there neglected. And now that it's sinking they decide to repair it but now will wait until it has sunk to go back and finish repairs. Proof again that "You Can't Fix Stupid". :nope:

Well, ARA Santísima Trinidad was inactive since 1989, providing parts for her sister ARA Hercules.
She was active only from 1981 to 1989, but the UK embargo (she was a Type 42 destroyer) greatly affected both ships. So Hercules eated the Santísima.
Besides that, Argentine armed forces are in a shame state...

Depends on your POV. That ship will never sail to the Falklands again, I think that is for sure.

Don't tell your government, but we're not doing very well ourselves. :03:

I'd be lying if I said the thought hadn't crossed my mind.

I don`t know why people are thinking in a second South Atlantic War.
Kirchner is a big talker (she is not in my friends list...), but I don´t hear her threatening with hostilities.
In any case, the ship was NOT EVEN in the Navy inventory. She was as seaworthy as the Missouri!

You suffered a joke - so take it like a man! :woot:
Kirchner, after the Repsol stunt, is not being recognised as just a talker over here, however.
