Standing down from battle stations?

How do you get off battle stations? I have the 'man' icon saying that the men are at their battle stations (having pressed F7) but I can't work out how to get them to go back to their normal duties :hmmm::hmmm::hmmm:.

Thanks. What's the difference between the red bell icon when I press F7 (which I can toggle off) and the man icon that I got last night at battle stations (which I can't seem to get now and which I couldn't toggle off). Does the man icon appear just during an attack? Are the men getting tired while it's on? Does it go off by itself over time?

Seems like the 'man icon' might only appear in the tutorial, before the first campaign, so don't worry about this. Subsequently it's just a bell which toggles on and off.

I think a number of things are different in the tutorial, which just makes it harder for noobs like me.

Also, in case you did not learn it yet, F8 turns "Silent Running" on and off.

F1 will give you what the key commands are. Shift/F1 shows what the extra commands are.

I get only "man" icon when order battlestations through speech reqog. Bell appears when using crew commands... What is the difference? Are my men battlestations at all when man icon appears?
