View Full Version : Blood Mod for Il-2 1946?

Where can I find a mod that sprays blood on the windows when shot? Stock game has the oil-looking stuff but i want blood. :hmmm: I'm currently downloading HSFX6 and i have the latest Il-2 update.

(No. I'm not a serial killer. I just want blood on the windscreen) :D

You can get that mod over at SAS. You'll see a mod section called Visuals, then a sub section called Effects. There are a couple in there.

Do i need HSFX installed?

Yes, because it will be installed into the mod folder. Just be sure it is for HSFX.

Okay. My connection is slow so it'll be the better part of this week that i'll be downloading HSFX.

I can't wait. IL-2 is going to be so much better...

I checked SAS and the mod link there that I found is dead. :wah:

If somebody knows somewhere where I can get such a mod....

EDIT: It didn't work. I changed the INI entry and nothing happens when my pilot gets hit. It'll say that my pilot is wounded or his leg is hit or something of the sort. No blood effect. :(

You should look for this: 0_Wolfighter_Gore4allPlanes_v1.4.rar at SAS1946. I don't use HSFX, but DBW and it is working - though not all the airplanes seem to be able to show the "gore": I have never seen blood in an Allied bomber! Hope this helps.

I saw that mod on SAS but I think there was something about it not being compatible with the version of the game I'm using. :hmmm:
