Hi folks, new to the community. Don't see a sticky for recommended mods. Can someone point me in the right direction? Don't want to corrupt my saves wtc while I experiment. :)

Is there a more basic tutorial? Sure I had no problem sinking ships, I'd already seen a tutorial that walked me through proper use of the deck gun. But when it came time to dock at kiel, with the lowest realism setting, I wasn't prompted for the real dock point and spent a lot of time scrapping plating off of concrete. Not to mention clogging dock slips.
Thanks for the start up. Once I have a basic grounding I'm sure there will be little problems moving to next level play.
EDIT: Ah ok - a blinking icon finally showed up. Imagine if there'd been another callout. Ok got THAT part figured out, and more importantly realize the newbie ramp up is not fully in our face. Next steps...
