New steam player

Howdy folks, new to SH5 and this community but have played several versions of SH since the C64.

I'm seeing something weird and need help. I start the game from Steam and see the launcher, e.g. shows a picture which flips to a progress bar to update the launcher. Which burns down and then starts all over again. Forever.

Suggestions?

Well after rebooting and trying a few more times now I see purple ubisoft patcher. Weird that I had to jump through those hoops. Gonna assume I'm good from here on out. :)

Hey folks, sorry for another stupidly obvious question but I am docked at Kiel, I've been given command of the uboat, and I see bubbles over the head of the NPC on the con tower but see nothing obvious on how to take command and move on to the next mission. Sorry to be such a muttonhead but what am I missing?

Hi Pococurante, i havent played campaign mode for a while and i see you havent had a reply in 2 days, so my suggestion is to see admiral and accept a mission from the menu. Then i believe you will be on ur boat ready to, 'give em hell'. Good luck anyway.
