Did I install something wrong.

Hoped to get some help in the convoy thread but was met with what i read as sarcasm. Does anybody know why after 2 attempts at the 50000 ton coastal mission have I only found a handful of large merchants/warships but hundreds of 90 ton fishing vessels. I am also ignored by every enemy aircraft that flys over or near me and Scapa Flow has been empty other than a single torpedo boat on both occasions. I have tried further out to sea and have been close to each port but its either nothing or a fishing boat or on very rare occasions I might get something bigger.

I am without proper internet at the moment and have the steam version so a reinstall will have to wait, but I am having no fun gunning down stupid little things and would like to see if there is a quick fix (changing a setting, or removing a mod) it was working fine until about a week ago when I had to verify the games cache in steam as it failed to launch. I played pretty much the same before and after the problem and before it happened I was finding a good amount of larger merchants/warships and was being attacked by aircraft.
As said before, I am using Sobers Mega Mod List minus real navigation.

I am sorry if you took our jokes for sarcasm. :)

Complaints about scarce shipping traffic are quite common in this forum. Things like these are often caused by simple bad luck, or wrong tactics more than else.

From what you said, I understand that you have enabled OHII, and that it is properly installed (otherwise there wouldn't be thug boats around the coast of England: this is an OHII feature). On the other hand, very few mods are dealing with shipping traffic or campaign layers, so I would exclude a mod incompatibility.

Nonetheless, if you are still convinced that something is wrong with your mod list, you should at least post it here or in OHII's thread, for us ta have a look at it. ;)

Its a dynamic campaign so each time you start a new campaign shipping traffic is diffrent because of the nodes afaik . Everything you do effects something in the campaign afaik . Your hydrophone is broken unless you use the patcher which wont work with the steam version . Get the download version other than steam to use the patcher . Early in the game ther wont be much around . Early on in the war dont expect much traffic around especially the Baltic .
