:timeout: If I want to run a TMO set up, an RFB set up and a stock set up, can I use more than one JSGME enabler or, do I have to put all the mods in just one JSGME? If I can use more than one, how do I do it?
If I can use more than one, how do I designate the correct JSGME profile to the correct campaign? Be it TMO, RFB or whatever. Maybe a campaign from pearl with TMO, and one from Manila with RFB.
If possible, I,d like to have TMO mods in one JSGME, RFB in another etc. :hmmm:

The megamods modify game data, not just campaign data.
My recommendation:
Clean install sh4
Make a copy of the sh4 folder and rename this copy to something like "sh4 tmo" and install tmo to that folder.
Make another copy of the stock sh4 folder and rename it to "sh4 rfb" and install rfb to that folder.
If you really want to keep it down to just one folder. You can only have either tmo or rfb active at the same time. Supposing you're running tmo and want to switch, you must first disable tmo then enable rfb.
You can put all mods in Mods folder and for each can save mod profile and reload him when you want in JSGME by clicking Tasks.. button, or can use Multi SH4 from here http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/downloads.php?do=file&id=1110 to have separate installations for each mega mod

If you are going to run three different mod setups, the easiest way is to copy the entire /Silent Hunters Wolves of the Pacific/ folder and rename it. IIRC, SH4 does not make any changes to the Windows registry, so making copies will not affect execution. Each copy will have it's own SH4.exe in the top-level folder, and you will have to put a copy of JSGME.exe there, too. (If you already have JSGME installed, it will have copied over with the rest.) When you first run JSGME, it will create a /mods subfolder, where you should then install all the mods you want to use for that setup. One /mods folder will have TMO and related files, another will have RFB, the third will have (I hope) GFO. If you start the game from a shortcut, you will need to also make a shortcut for each copy of JSGME ("JSGME for TMO", etc). You should use the correct copy of JSGME to set up the mods for each SH4. That won't be hard to remember, as the JSGME in the SH4-TMO folder will only "see" the mods in that /mods folder - no RFB-related mods will appear in the Available Mods window of JSGME. You can then just use each copy of SH4 as a if it were a separate game. There are a couple of other add-on programs which, like JSGME, you will have to install into each game's folder if you want to use them, and you will have to make separate shortcuts for each copy. SH4 Randomizer, and Radio Station Manager are two examples.
In addition, I'd suggest that you use MultiSH4 to activate separate save-game files for each copy of SH4 that you create. It's available at the SubSim downloads page, and will let you keep your saved games in different folders. Ohterwise, all of your versions of SH4 will use the same saved-game folder set, which could get confusing.
The biggest advantage of using a separate copy of SH4 for each megamod is that you do not have to change the mod load to change games. So you will not have to get your TMO career to port before switching to RFB. And you can be sure that you haven't switched the order of installing mods or done anything else that risks a potentially career-destroying problem.
Just remember that you have to treat each copy of SH4 as a separate complete game and set it up accordingly.

in the main game directory find the "ubisoft" folder, open it and do this.
starting with a fresh brand new install of sh4 and:
Make a copy of the sh4 folder and rename this copy to "sh4 tmo" and install jsgme to that folder.
Make another copy of the stock sh4 folder and rename it to "sh4 rfb" and install jsgme to that folder.
now take the stock sh4 folder and rename it to "sh4 stock" and install jsgme to that folder.
now you have 3 seperate game installs but you need a way to call on each one seperately so click on the exe file and create a new shortcut on desktop then rename it the same as you named that game version. now do the same with the jsgme exe for each then place these where you want them and run the version of your choice when you like. dont forget to rename the original exe shortcut to "sh4 stock"
now open each jsgme and install all the mods you might want for that game version and enable the ones you like to use. do this for each version. for me what i found easiest since most versions had simular extra mods was to simply copy the first "mods" folder to the other game versions and then remove what i didnt want in those and add what i wanted that wasnt there.
now remember one thing, the saved games can be corrupted when you switch versions since the game wants to put it all in one place so to stop this corruption, make sure you name it for which game version they are for.

That is the reason for using MultiSH4. It allows you to set up multiple save-game folder sets (SH4 uses several layers of folders when it saves games). You can have a separate set for each copy of SH4 you create. (You could name them "TMO Saves", etc). Each copy will write the saved game data to its own set of folders, and you won't have to remember which saved game is which.
