Inspired by the The "What Annoys You/What You Hate" thread (http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?t=201118) I realised that most of what does annoy me is the beloved wife's actions or lack of. Seemingly so many that I thought a separate thread would be needed. :o

I'll be clear - I still love her and want to be with her.

This thread is for the little niggly things that your other-half does or doesn't do. Not intended for reasons for divorce, nothing breaking forum rules, and quite frankly - if your ex-wife went around the block whilst you're asleep next to her - I don't want that either. :-?

So, onwards.

I'm annoyed at the wife's inability to correctly load the dishwasher, she thinks a pan directly on top of a similar-sized bowl will get washed!

I'll be back with more later.

My wife reads GT. She sees it as a big soap opera. As such:

I find my wife's behavior to be as a veritable Mary Poppins; practically perfect in every way. She is entirely lacking in personal deficiencies and character flaws. Any and all conflict in this house is by my hand and mine alone.

This should surely be renamed the 'I want to sleep on the couch tonight' thread?

Ah yes, you've said such before, and you worship the ground she walks on, and hang on her every word . . .

*whisper* - Is that OK :03:

My wife thinks Subsim is all boring, geeky stuff, so isn't aware of the hotbed of gossip in GT. :-? Er, I mean - I don't expect you to partake as you're only recently marred.

Sorry, married.

Next - the bins! Why can't the missus take out the bins (trash, garbage, rubbish, recycling, etc.)? She'll put stuff in until it looks full then moan at me to take it out, I come along and push it all down so we can double the amount in there! A feat seemingly unavailable to my wife. :hmmm:

The ability of Mrs Fube to talk to me with her back turned and a room away, and then accuse me of never listening to a word she says ??

Ah yes H-B the bin thing and the dishwasher thing............ :/\\!!:/\\!!

Beats the hell outta me why it takes at least 6 trips to dump 6 bottles/tins (insert item of choice) and double lock the front door after each trip.

Just because a dishwasher has a 14 place capacity it don't mean all the places plus pots & pans.

The ability to keep watching US baby birth programmes @ 60 ??

The same ability to keep watching reruns of bloody Heartbeat, Supernanny, Minder.... Police, Hospital or Fire Service reality programme !!!!

Other than that she is almost not too bad at all ;)

Best regards.

My girlfriend is a beauty.

Short sholder length dark hair as soft as silk gives way to sexy slightly muscular shoulders. A light dusting of almost unnoticable freckles accents her flawless olive skin. her breasts are so perfectly matched and rounded, perky and upturned. her gorgeous hourglass figure yields an alluring curvature which accents her supple buttocks and extends smoothly to her toned volley ball players legs.

The female form is a work of art indeed and she is displayed most prominently in the museum of my mind - in a class all by herself.

of course being a woman she sees none of this. She looks in the mirror and observes a minor flaw here, a scar there, a couple of pounds she wishes she didnt have.

the kiss of her lips and the easiness of her embrace erases the world around me in an instant... in her presence i feel as if i am in the presence of grace, beauty and greatness.... but no matter what i tell her or how i plead my case she cannot believe this.

i only wish she could see herself for a fleeting moment as i see her.

It annoys me my wife can't drive despite taking her test twice and occasionally turns up at home in a taxi or having taken a bus despite the fact our two kids and I all have a car.

There are probably a great many things I could add but after nearly twenty nine years of wedded happiness I'd feel a bit of a prat.

Dat stoopid Thing is still married to another man!
and dat she is twice my age gets on my nerves too!
or is that , me being way too young? perspective....

Other n that, we be bloody perfect in pulling each other out of deep poo-poo, protecting each other from the usual hailstones of life and occasionally covering each other as we steal horses, rob banks and the Liquor store.

and her house. wayyy too big. need to get something else to live in once s few things have changed.

I can't think of anything about Nancy that bothers me.
She is the light of my life and has been for as long as I care to remember.
I could have been so much less in my life given my ways at the time I hooked up with Her.
She never demanded I change. She just loved me and trusted me for who I was.
She saw alot more in me then I did at that time.
She still does.

I'm thinking I might keep her around for another 20 years or so.

Dates! How hard can it be to pick up a loaf of bread or a bottle of milk and just check to see that you're getting a reasonable life out of it. I bought a loaf at the weekend - BBE 5 Jan. She buys one on Wednesday - BBE 3 Jan. :/\\!!

Too bad, we were working on the same frequency. Bonnie and Clyde. It's just she always had to bring some idiot into the mix. Her being shallow was her only bad trait and was enough to force me to kill the relation. :(

Married for like...crap almost ten years?!

I dunno what she sees in me, I am such a douchbag.

I can understand single guys, but once in awhile you find your fit. I used to screw whatever moved but I fell in love. Like the old Elvin Bishop song.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=edtl5W4XNLk

Rod Stewart did it too, but I prefer Elvin.

When I was single and diddling anything that moved, I would mock you.

Now long time married with an awesome woman, I am jealous, and hope I am able to maintain as you have.

Kinda like the Stanley Kubrick "Duality of man philosophy" from Full metal Jacket.

Funny thing Soopa, it usually isn't up to us. I was a screwup for a long time. It's up to them. That's why I say understanding and kind. Glad you found a good one. All the best.

I thought the same as GR with my 1st wife. Not quit as much with the 2nd wife. Now I know there will never be a 3rd wife. ;) The only way is to shack up. :D It seems they try harder to keep you happy. Not the other way around after you tie the knots. Yes I said knots for a reason.

My biggest pet peeve is my wife leaving on the lights when she leaves the room. I'll come up in the morning after breakfast before work while she is downstairs making the kids' breakfast and our bedroom light, her night stand light, the closet light, and the bathroom lights are all on, along with her night stand radio. Drives me nuts.

Evidently I am the only one who can

Turn out a light
Empty a garbage bag
Clean up after the dogs
Put dishes in the washer
Take dishes out of the washer
Recognize when laundry needs to be done
...
