Real Medals

I've been playing SH4 and watching it on youtube and it bothered me that the medals seem to be very screwed up. I've looked for a bit but are unable to find a mod that fixes it. if there is one could someone please post the link to it. i understand the reasons behind not putting real medals in the game (medal of valor instead of medal of honor) but i like a good bit of realism in my simulation games

I think there's a mod in the Downloads section that adds correct medals. :hmmm:

The game award system is a real mess! They didn't use the actual medals (some say it was a copyright issue?!?), it has medals named incorrectly in the various places they are shown (the Captain's office, for his set; and the Crew Management screen, for their awards), and to top it off, their not given in the correct "order" they should be (a Medal of Valor is given for what should have been a Bronze Star, or what the stock game calls a Victory Star, I think).

In the "Downloads" menu section you'll find my medals corrections that are used in both TMO and RFB. Here's a link to my "U.S. Medals Fix II_Stock (http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/downloads.php?do=file&id=597)" mod. You have to go back through the mod list quite a ways to get to my mods for the medals. It was nearly 4 years ago.
