Isn't there a similarity here with what happened all those years back in French Indochina? :03:
Central African Republic protest prompts France action
French President, Francois Hollande has ordered tighter security for his country's embassy in the Central African Republic (CAR), after it was attacked by protesters.
Mr Hollande also told the defence minister to provide extra protection for French citizens there.

 I admit this is the first time in my life I ever heared of that a country of this name even exists. Never heared of it, never read about despite having read several books about Africa, never noticed anywhere somebody mentioning it in speech or writing.
:o
At least not under this name. Has it been renamed, maybe?

Well they were the "Central African Empire (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Central_African_Empire)" for a little while. :haha:
But no the CAR has been around since the 1960's, before that it was part of French Equatorial Africa (1st as Ubangi-Shari, then as part of Chad) until all that broke up.

Maybe if der speigel ran its articles covering news events africa with the headline "Its the muslims I tell ya" Skybird would have noticed the news:rotfl2:
