Gerry Anderson the creator of Thunderbirds, Captain Scarlet, UFO & Space1999 and many more shows has passed away. What a sad day for those of us who grew up watching his shows.

R.I.P Gerry.

I spent a lot of my childhood with Gerry s shows. A sod day indeed. The are still showing repeats of the Thundebird's on TV here. FAB Gerry. RIP.

A shame indeed, as a child I enjoyed his shows for the action and adventure, but when I watched a couple of them again as an adult I marvelled at the attention to detail furnished in the models and shots. :yep:

R.I.P. Gerry. :salute:

I loved all his shows way back when I was growing up. You did good and will be greatly missed. It's too bad kids today aren't able to see his shows on tv. I've not seen a one replayed in over 30 years here in the USA. And no, I don't get all of the fancy cable stations that do replays of old shows.

I love watching them now, when I am an old man. I got the entire set of Thunderbirds on a previous christmas.

Awesome show!
