Has anyone else had an issue with destroyers constantly circling around you and follow you where ever you go? They never seem to get close enough for you to attack or for them to detect you. I'm getting it very often and it's really annoying especially with time compression. Any advice on how to fix this would be great thank you.

It's a stock bug, and many have noticed it. I've had them follow me all the way back to Germany. One player said he turned back on them and they attacked him, but I haven't seen that. On the other hand I was only able to play a few patrols before my old dud of a computer decided to stop running SH5 altogether, so you have the full sum of my knowledge on the subject.

Is it that arduous to play test games? I love SH, but some of these bugs are just ridiculous. Hey thanks anyways, least I know I'm not alone now.

That's what we're for. The end use has become the beta tester. It's a brave new world full of shoddy software that's released 'as-is' and possibly patched sometime down the road.

Quality craftsmanship is an antiquated concept that dies a thousand deaths in the digital age. But that's 'progress' for ya! :D

Its verry frustrationd, i know, have it also. What i do is first save the game, silent running, so deep als possible, all stop, and use time compression. See what is happend, maybe u have luck, maybe not. U can always load the game where u was.

It's stock bug as mentioned Steve..
TDW was going to see what could be done with this issue but so far have not looked at..
There's only one cure for this.. save/load..

Since using OHII Full and CSP Magui I've not had this happen. I'm the one that chases them, and they are not happy. :D LOL
