Hi all,

I have been away From Silent Hunter 3 for five or so years and have just re-installed the game after finding GWX 3.0 mod and being intrigued, just having a problem now with the resolution only being 1280 x 1024, (I do not seem to be able to download the Silent Hunter Resolution Fix 1.4b mod from the downloads section) I think my privalages have been suspended from lack of activity can anyone help me out with this issue :)

In the mean time I will jump in at this resolution and sink some shipping.

One other thing has anyone got a live link to the GWX 3.0 PDF manual as all the links I have found have been dead ends.

Thanks.

Here's the GWX 3 Manual.
http://www.mediafire.com/?v50hk68g9lrvsd5

But it should be in the documentation folder now if you installed GWX 3.

Hi, I am also returning to this game.
I remember how fun it was and the great graphics.
I have the Seawolves expansion and can find no support for it anywhere.
I was hoping to find some here.

Hello to all the fellow Kaleuns out there!
just returning after a three-year absence and already installed SH3+GWX+Commander onto my new win7-rig without any problems, thx to magnificent trouble-shooters on this board. I'm really glad to be able to sim SH3 again and atm I'm in grid BF18 for my first war-patrol in Sep'39.
the only problem I encountered so far (and have no solution yet) is that I'm not able to return to speed after having stopped the engine. I tried everything and of course I looked if the engine-room is manned and all. might it be a problem with my operating-system or is it game-based and I'm just too stupid to check all the possibilities?
any help will be appreciated!

You'll find no support for Seawolves here, it was (iirc) a collection of mods stolen by someone and published. I think all the mods in it will by now be superceeded by better.

Buy a new copy of SH3 (it's cheap enough) and download one or more of the supermods from here.

Then you'll see support. :yeah:

What did you mean by that ? You can no longer run your engine or you cannot reach high speed ?

This is a small bug that crops up now and then, happens to me once in a while. Put the engines in full reverse, then back into the forward speed you want when that happens. That should do the trick.

thx HW3, that did the trick!
and thx to Aras for trying to help me out.
now I know what I missed even more than the sim, it's the great community!
