Just wondering if you still get the payments from Amazon?
I hope so, when buying through them does it get payed automatically or do we have to use a special code or something.
Thought I would ask as the posts that I have been reading go back to the dark distant past and it would seem a good time to remind users or inform new users that this benefits us all as users of the forum. :yeah:

yep, a very special one: the one of your credit card :D
but IIRC, provided that you are a registered customer, they do store your information so you only need to enter your customer name and password :salute:

As long as you go to Amazon via the links, either at the top of the page (currently Santa riding a mini-sub), or in the Quick Links drop down list.
Then you get the choice of which Amazon site, there is the regular .com US site, or Canadian, UK, or German sites.
Actually, looking at it, it seems hard to figure out how to use the US site from the link, but it is possible - just scroll down and click on the SH5 link - then from the Amazon site browse as normal. (Edit - my mistake, I was using a blocker of ads and a no-script. Once these were disabled it all looked fine.)
There is a thread where you can add your purchase so Neal can double-check to confirm he's getting the right money - http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?t=125634

Yes, as HB mentioned, simply click on the logo of Amazon Santa and you will be taken to the Amazon search page. Anything you search and buy will be added to our commission without any cost to you. Thank you form taking the time to check. No special code is needed.
And I will confirm any items you want to show off here (http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?t=125634&page=18). It's a nice way to make sure the links are still working (never had any problem with them).
HB, I will see about cleaning up that Store page and make the US link easier to find, thanks for pointing that out.

It's a pleasure, boss. I'd not had to use that side of Amazon before.
ops... I think I misunderstood the meaning of batryhak's post
Go on with your purchases on Amazon, matey.
As said by Herr-Berbunch and by uncle Neal, it is easy and you contribute to the costs of maintainance of subsim with no extra fees for you

just a reminder guys, in addition to the path neal has set up, if you find a better deal somewhere then you can still help subsim with a small donation you make directly so take the best deal you find but if its not through subsim then please send a little help our way on your own. :salute:
