HELP! I'm new to SH5

Hi, Have loaded SH5 and have been instructed to go to meet the captain in the conning tower.
How do you get up the ladder????
I have no operating icons on the screen i.e. speed, depth etc or map tools to do anything.
How do you turn around to face the other way without having to walk backwards.

in stock version of the game the moving commands are the mouse + "W : A : D : S"
Hit F1 for keyboard commands.

To get up the ladder: just walk towards it like in any FPS game.

Ya, just be sure to walk straight toward the ladder, (not looking up but straight ahead). If you hit it dead on, it'll trigger the climbing animation.

I remember having this same exact issue when I got SH5. It took several attempts to make it up those ladders and down too. It's gets easier, and become more fluid the more you play.
