Is there a way to turn an Allied ship into a Japanese AI operated ship in SH4? The Japanese used many captured many allied ships for their use during the war: Patrol Boat No. 102, which sank the Harder (SS-257), according to combinedfleet.com (http://www.combinedfleet.com/atully05.htm). Patrol Boat No. 102 was none other than the ex-American destroyer Stewart (DD-224). Yes, you can make it so that limited quantities of American ships are used by the IJN. Just follow this path: C:/Ubisoft/Silent Hunter 4/data/Roster.
Once there, take the wanted American ship's CFG file, copy and paste it into the Japan folder, open the file, and change whatever you have to to make it less common.
