INSTALLING MODS??

I really want to install some mods but I'm not sure which versions of 7-zip and jsgme I should use. And, does it make any difference? Where do I find the correct downloads? How do I install the mods? I know these questions have been asked of you guys over and over. Sorry!! Could you direct me to threads? Any help would be greatly appreciated.:lost::help:

And for 7zip its easy enough, just typ it in google and you'll get to the DL page there you can find the lates 7zip DL.
