I have installed and uninstalled the sim and different mods several times. All of my downloaded mods are backed up to an external drive and a thumb drive.
When I have a solid mod order, I will make a folder and copy the mods into that folder (a backup folder on the external drive) and change the name of each of the mods to start with a number
Ex: Mod "No Logos " will be renamed "01 No Logos" to be loaded first. the next mod will be 02 Name. This gives you the load order at a glance and makes it easier to copy and paste the mod into the game mod folder the next time you have to start over.

dont do it :nope: renaming things gets too confusing and adding changes later will be complicated.

its better to just make a list of the mods and the install order so adding mods or replacing them with updates is simple and easy. its a better way to go :yep:

I concur. It also estremely easy to edit the .mep files, so you can just copy-paste the mod-folder name back and forth, rearranging your list very easily.

I'm all for finding a stable mod order, but this sounds like it could cause issues down the road.

For identification purposes, it's good you've still got the original mod name in the title, but the drawback seems to be the numbering system is only relative to other mods already included in the designated folder. Hence, every time you add a new mod to the soup, you'd have to renumber the lot.

Too much work for a lazy cuss like me. :D
