UPDATE
The game is now also on indiegogo (http://www.indiegogo.com/seacraft/) with a more detailed list of what the game is all about. Some of the pledge levels mention that subs will be included.

It looks much like an Unreal-powered Navy Field idea with 1960's cold war units and no XP grind which is simply awesome. This might very well be the first crowdsourcer I'll be funding.

Yes, I think I may well contribute too, hopefully a lot of people who join the discussion on their page will try & steer the game towards a bit more realism though.

If only we could convince Ed Fletcher to do the same and try a Kickstarter/indiegogo campaign to develop his TF1942/PAW reboot. It will be a very sad day if that project is left in drydock.

Somewhat more realistic ranges would be nice but I'd personally prefer even most missile engagements to be at visual ranges. Kind of like the combat in PHM Pegasus if anyone remembers that sim. Certainly this is much more interesting than Silent Hunter Online. I might tip off RPS tomorrow...
