Well I hope soon. I've been a model builder for my whole life. Mostly these days I build for the 3D airwar game I play with friends, but I've recently bought some WW1-era ships to build. I do have on in a museum, but that was more than twenty years ago.
Let's see 'em!

I'm interested in knowing what game this is.
I would personally like to start modeling(have a couple Gundam Models, but that's a different thing), but I don't know where to start. Honestly I'd like to build WWII ships.

This is my very first model, an Airfix 1/72 Ju87B, which my dad built for me:

And here's the first one I built myself, an Airfix 1/48 Bf109F:

Same 3D airplane game I've talked about many times. Models are on stands, stands move around the floor, planes climb up and down the sticks.

Thanks.
Also, if anyone here thinks that their modeling skills are bad, just wait till you see my first Bf109E4 and my Ju88A4...

If you could model as well as you talk you'd be building to museum standard :O:
Come on, let us see some more :03:

I wasn't especially proud of my 109, so I got my Dad to build my next model: An Airfix 1/72 Fw190D9.

Feeling a little braver, I decided to build my next model, an Airfix 1/72 BF109E4, myself.

And here's the next model I built, a Revell 1/72 Junkers Ju88A4
http://imageshack.us/a/img41/9792/photodec12075812.jpg
After a long period of not making models, I got back into building them with this Airfix 1/72 Albatros D.Va, which was flown in real life by Manfred von Richtofen, the Red Baron...

And, after I had gotten into SH5, I made this Revell 1/350 Type VIIC U-boat, in the colors of U-96.

Not bad for a start. Building is fun. If sometime you decide you want to become a serious builder, there are a few of us who can help. Proper sanding techniques, aquiring and learning the airbrush - stuff like that. :sunny:

I would suggest you purchase some masking tape to help you with demarkation lines :sunny:

Yeah, started doing that last year. These are models I built several years ago.
