In 1965, LIFE photographer Bill Ray and writer Joe Bride spent several weeks with the Hells Angels. Bride's story and Ray's extraordinary pictures never ran in the magazine. Five decades later, here they are.

Most likely they never published them because the Hells Angels had themselves legally incorporated in the 60's.If you use their name or likeness without their permission they will sue you that is why you never see a Hells Angles patch in any movie short of the few made in the late 60s and early 70's that did actually hire them turns out that they are not very good workers.
They do make great crowd control though just ask the Rolling Stones although that homicide was actually justified it is most likely the only one that was legal of the many they have committed.
They like to act like harmless people but it is all a front of course to the typical person they most likely wont do anything to you but that did not stop a group of Hells Angels and thier biggest rival in California The Mongols from getting into a huge brawl in a casino Reno Neveda a few years back including using fire arms and ball pen hammers against each other.
In Florida the Warlocks are the powerful motorcycle club if you do something illegal like traffic drugs or guns you might know them well as either a friend or foe depending on your affiliations.
