What's becoming of this world. Cops are becoming likeable.

Cops are suporting the protesters in my country, in Frankfurt the entire anti-riot squad took down their helmets and joined the protests, was pulled over six times this year and they gave me a friendly chat and warning, then there was The dark knight rises in which the cops have a major role and now this guy.

Cops have always been likable. Sometimes vilified by the news and rightly so on some occassions

It all depends I suppose cops are humans just like the rest of us some are nice people and some aren't. I always like to know why a person became a law officer that gives you an idea how they are.The one that is the junky for adrenaline might not be the best officer or the kind that do it for the authority that they have likely not so good.Now the ones that have a protective instinct and want do the job because they want to help others they are usually fairly decent and they must have the most patience because some of the people they help their life does not improve.


At the same time in some areas you do need harsher enforcement like in LA they used to have a program called CRASH that aggressively targeted gangs and in most areas it worked well and
the population liked it but one of the gangs a Mexican gang the 18th Street Gang went to the ACLU and the rest is history. Most places have similar programs but none are as large as CRASH was now anti gang units are smaller the one in Oakland Ca has only 12 members up against thousands of gang members young men get shot by gangs for not having gang affiliations so in some areas as a young men in this country life a real bitch no matter what someone is your enemy.I think that is real problem and the lowered direct gang enforcement is because of the precedent that the 18th Street Gang case set whose members have killed entire families on hits including shooting a 6 month old baby in the head the justice that the gang member got was not from the state it was from a Mexican prison gang that had ordered the hit they had him play a round of basketball to get his blood worked up and then stabbed him in the heart so he would bleed out.

Around here it is not uncommon for deputy sheriffs to change a persons tire and some of them will even give people in need a ride especially homeless people that is not something they are told to do though they do it because they want to.Of course if you have something illegal maybe be sure that you dont have a flat tire you might get some help and a free room if you give them probable cause.
