Is anyone successfully running either MultiSH4 or MultiSH3 on a 64 bit OS? I get an error "FileManager.dll could not be written" followed by "Access violation at 001B001F. Write of address 001C5B2A"
Has anyone ever seen this before? If so, is there a way around it?
Thanks,
Tigershark

Tigershark, I am running under Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit. I have successfully used MultiSH4 to make three different versions, for RFB, TMO, and OM. Had no problems, got no error messages. All three versions work fine. I realize that this doesn't help you solve your problem, but FWIW I can assure you that there is no fundamental incompatibility issue.
<Sound of hand slapping forehead.> Did you copy the SH4 folder to somewhere OUTSIDE OF the Program Files folders? (There are two in Windows 7: Program Files and Program Files(x86)). You should do that first, before using MultiSH4. Windows may block applications from modifying anything in those two folders. My SH4 folders are under the root folder, OS on my machine.

I will try that. I didn't realize the (x86) program files folder created problems. Thanks for the tip. I'll report back.
Success, thank you. Please close this thread if need be.

My Quote last April:
Check also if your computer is sp1 or sp2 availability, in trying to install Multi sh4 kept getting an error message on the 1.4 and the 1.5 version .... I just got confused and frustrated and left it for a task for later  which was around the new year.
After reading 11/27/12
I have been using Websters TEC. for now but realize will be problems in future.
I thought in reading threads that putting Sh4 in program files caused some conflict and CTD's.
I have Win 7 Ultimate
SP1, AMD Athlon II X4 630
4.00 GB, 64 Bit
So am I doing something wrong or computer not able to do what I am asking for???
