Are forum users allowed to mention the patch's in the title of this thread? I figure they are by the nature of what they remoove in the process of fixing bugs etc, a touchy subject.

If they are allowed, I think they need more people shouting about them.
I have been stuck in a cycle of playing SH3 untill certain issues bug the hell out of me, then stop playing to take up other interests. I later return and repeat the cycle.

The V16b1 patch I just got I am exstatic to find 95% of these problems gone.
I actually can't think of a issue that will drive me away again now.
(that's not an invitation for you to remind me of something I can't remember)

No more vampire nights, No more 1x time comp ship spotted every 2 seconds, Updated patrol orders, air dropped torpedoes, a weather meter, ship speed reduction in bad weather, Bad weather save game bug gone etc etc etc etc

Funny how it takes the general public to actually fix games like this and make them playable. I see it all over the place. Paradox Interactive being the worst IMO.

agreed on that last part.
Burned my fingers with East india company and sequel...
ouch.
Release, fix two bugs and bring 10 new ones, move on.

Hearts of Iron 3 is the most disgusting experiance I have ever had with a games company. The game is still buggy after nearly 3 years.

another of my favourites was ORDER OF WAR from square enix. That one has a memory bug that has never been fixed despite the patch claiming to.

It's no wonder people pirate games IMO.
