GWX 3.0 Gold Freeware?

I cannot find a "free version" of GWX 3.0 Gold anywhere. The official site shuts down my internet browser or sets of a string of errors. The subsim version I have to make a donation for. Its not freeware if you have to pay for it. I don't mind paying for things but these donations always turn out to be a credit card scam. Maybe a version could be sold on DVD-ROM through Amazon (More trusted site) if you insist on making us pay for it now! If theres anyone out here who can shed light on this for me that would be great. I appreciate that running a forum for 15+ years costs money but I'm not willing to give you my credit card details just yet!

All versions of GWX are free! Where you at? You can get a DVD sent to you at NO COST!! Just tell us where to sent it to.

First of all.....GWX3.0/Gold is freeware.

SubSim does not scam people and all donations go toward the upkeep of the servers for this community.

Secondly, I would hope you'll take my word for the above and make a donation....it doesn't matter for how much, every little helps.

I am from the UK and can as I have done for a great many others around not only the UK but from around the world burn the files onto a disc and send it to you free of charge.

If you choose none of the above you can PM me and I will provide you with links to the original files from my own library.

If you can find a post by jimbuna, there is a link in his signature to the GWX 3.0 mod files on his Mediafire account.

I've never had any problems with any of the donations I have made to this site. Neal is a first class person, and though I have never met him in person, I trust him 100%.

Thank you all very much the media fire links worked for me. I do appreciate all the work you do on this forum but you can never be to careful when entering card details online. Love the game, love the community surrounding it. Ive been playing for a while and various threads have helped me to actually get the game working right without the crashes, (I ended up building a PC to suit it!) Im on my second career (first on the custom build PC) playing on a 42inch TV without any crashes thanx to you guys.

That is precisely why I don't bother re-uploading there and only maintain the Mediafire links.

A little worrying about our website though...perhaps Todd will see this thread and update the site with my links.

The GWX website works fine in Chrome on OSX.

The GWX website works fine in Firefox, and jimbuna's link there to filefront works fine. I used it yesterday as a test, and all the files I downloaded worked fine.

I copied the SH3 folder from one system to this NoteBook over my home network.
I did not copy any other folders.

Launched and seemed to run fine.

Next I'll try an install from the DVD to get a clean copy of SH3.
Just so I know if it actually works or not.

:yep: as I said. After the fresh install make sure to get a .zip file of that with 7zip. That compresses to the smallest files.
