One of the patrols has sent me to recon Narvik Naval Base. After arriving at the base, nothing happens! There are no ships in port, no way to photograph the base, and no new orders? Is this a bug? Has any one else had the same problem?
Respectfully.

All stop and use the camera . If you are using TDW New Ui mod then one of the officers has a camera , the officers bar on the bottom of the hud .

Just ignore and continue with your main orders - sink ships in Norway waters:up:

Thank you Master I'll try, but is there a command to activate camera ? (I play only with Open Horizons, no other mods).

Thank you, but I know this....with F1 (also with shiftF1) I don't see commands for camera. Is there anyone who can kindly tell me the command for activate the camera? (I have the stocked version + open horizon mod).

When I have had that mission u lock on a ship with uzo or scope and it asks if you are taking picture and hit lock again to snap shot . But normally the career mission is to Narvik and the macho photo recon is enroute at Trondheim fjord which crawls with escorts and tankers in the harbor as well as friendly escorts. Narvik generally has two enemy escorts and a squadron of friendlies at the very east end of that fjord. One of the escorts is generally at anchor and may be easily tallied as one of the five ships to bag in Norwegan waters. :arrgh!:

When you get within the area marked on your map (about 1-2km radius?)
look at a target with your obs or attach scope (I cant remember which one) and select target (space bar) - you will then get an option (small box in mid screen) to "take picture"

or

Install a UI mod that has a button for this. I use TDWs UI
Using a UI mod to take the picture will save the image, but if all conditions are not met (not in correct area, target too low a value) the mission will not be a pass.

Remember that these missions are not important (:o:-?:shifty::D) and your main objective is to sink ships:up:
