So, here are the details...
I'm running Sober's Mega Mod, and everything is working great. No major issues that I can tell. Some additional details, I installed these mods around the June time frame and so the list I have doesn't EXACTLY match the current list. One of the main exceptions is that I have the 6.9 Version of TDW's UI, not the current 7.1 that exists now. I'm worried to change in the middle of my campaign seeing as there is just this one following issue. I don't want my save games to break.
My only issue is that I go to the Attack scope and everything is fine... I leave the scope and come back and it crashes to the desktop. It never does this the first time, only after I leave it and come back. This does NOT happen for the observation scope, which I'm using a lot now. ;-)
Has anyone experienced this issue? It's not the end of the world, but really the only problem I'm experiencing.
BTW, for a side note I had an awesome patrol last night! I came across a huge convoy on the east side of England with several troop ships, they were the first thing, in this patrol, I saw and had a whole Uboat full of torpedos(October 1939) :woot:... I made them dread running across me :arrgh!:... >50,000 tons sunk although it didn't count one of the ships and an additional 1 refused to sink... I should have had 70,000(4 ships) tons with one extra damaged ship. FYI, I had to save after launching a torpedo but before it impacted... I had to shut the game down, the family needs me :03:. When I loaded the game the torpedo hit and sunk the ship, no credit... DON'T STOP THE GAME UNTIL YOUR TORPEDO HITS THE TARGET or MISSES... In the end I was really proud of myself. I'm playing full difficulty with "Real Navigation" and "Manual Targeting"... After the first ship I had to "eyeball" the speed(didn't measure) of all of the following ships as they were bobbing and weaving. So, four sunk(17kish troop ships), 1 damaged heavily... all 11 torpedoes expended. :D Back to base... I think I will be sinking 70,000 before the years out for that mission! I wasn't worried. :03:
There were many ships left in the convoy, some with 10 guns it seemed like... so the deck gun was out of the picture, FYI.
